The Partnership Project and 3D Model Printing

For this project, I collaborated with one of the sound engineers at Out The Way (OTW) music studio. I was drawn to work with him because of his strong passion for music, and I knew that by collaborating, I could incorporate his artistic perspective into the creation of a 3D model for his studio. The idea was to design a piece of equipment or an asset for the music studio, potentially an instrument or another key element. We began the process by brainstorming and sketching several design ideas. Once we finalized the concept, I imported the artwork into Autodesk Fusion 360 to create a 3D model. From there, I used the TAZ 5 (or Lulzbot Mini) to print the model. Another idea we considered was to design a logo or sign for the studio and create a stamp using the CNC machine. After more collaboration and discussion, we decided to focus on designing a microphone for the studio. This microphone could eventually be used as a prop in future music video productions, adding both function and style to the creative space at OTW Studio.
